Registered Professional Forester
The RPF designation is what you require to work as a Professional Forester in Canada. As an RPF, you can decide when, where, and how the forest should be harvested and replanted in ways that sustain its resources and protect wildlife. Adding the RPF option to your program will give you advanced training in:

• Forest Watershed & Fire Management
• Communities & Ecosystems
• Management of Insects & Fungi
• Forest Vegetation & Plant Physiology

This route gives you double accreditation as a Forest Engineer and an RPF, bridging the gap between the two professions, and giving you an advantage when it comes to making career decisions.
